U.S. F-15 Crashes Off Okinawa. Pilot Saved

US F-15 Fighter Crashes Off Okinawa -- Voice of America

Japan's coast guard says a U.S. F-15 fighter jet has crashed off the coast of Okinawa, but that the pilot ejected safely and there were no casualties.

U.S. military officials are still investigating the cause of the crash, which happened early Tuesday east of the Japanese island prefecture. The plane was flying out of nearby Kadena Air Base.
